Do people need a BuildBetter account to use BB Recorder?
No. BB Recorder works fully offline with no account. Signing in to your company's BuildBetter workspace adds shared collections, BuildBetter transcription and AI chat, and admin controls.
Can some calls stay local-only?
Yes. Local recordings stay on the device until someone chooses to upload them. You can also choose whether local media is kept or deleted after upload.
How does BB Recorder work with the BuildBetter bot?
Use either or both. If the bot joins a call that's already being recorded locally, the recording keeps going and shows the bot's live transcript. Pausing pauses the bot too.
